Nyris Retreats LLC ("Nyris Retreats", "we") runs retreats.nyris.net, a direct booking site for our vacation rentals. This policy explains what information we collect on this site, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information you give us

When you send a booking request, inquiry or contact form, we collect what you enter, such as your name, email, phone number, dates, number of guests and any message. We use it to answer you, prepare your quote and manage your stay. Booking and payment are completed through our property management system (Hospitable) and its payment processor; we do not store card numbers on this site.

Accounts and messaging

You can create a free account with just your email address — we email you a one-time code or sign-in link instead of using a password. With an account we store your email, the name and phone number you choose to add, the homes you save to your wishlist, your booking requests, and the messages you exchange with hosts through the site. We use this to show you your trips, deliver hosts' replies, and email you when there's something new (you can turn those emails off in your profile). We keep a record of your sign-ins (date, approximate location from your IP address and browser type) to protect your account, and sessions end automatically after 60 days without activity. Hosts you contact see your name, the message you send and the details of your request; they never see your sign-in information.

Information collected automatically

• Site analytics. We record how the site is used (pages viewed, clicks, which properties are viewed, whether a booking was started) with a random visitor ID stored in your browser. We use this to improve the site.
• Vercel Web Analytics. Our host measures page views in aggregate without cookies.
• Meta pixel. We use the Meta (Facebook and Instagram) pixel, which uses cookies and similar technologies. It tells Meta which pages you viewed on this site, which property you looked at, and whether you started or sent a booking request. We use it to measure our ads and to show ads for our properties to people who visited this site. Meta processes this data under its own privacy policy. We do not send your name, email or phone number to Meta through the pixel.

Your choices

• If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, our site analytics and the Meta pixel do not load at all.
• You can control the ads Meta shows you in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
• You can update your name, phone number and email preferences, and sign out of every device, from your profile. You can ask us to access, correct or delete information you sent us by contacting us.

How we share information

We share information only with the services that run our business: our property management and payment providers (to handle your booking), our email delivery provider (to send sign-in codes and notifications), our website host, and Meta (for the advertising measurement described above). When you message or send a request to a host who lists on this site, that host receives it. We do not sell your personal information.

Retention and security

We keep booking and inquiry details as long as needed to host you and meet tax and legal requirements. Analytics data is kept in aggregate. We use reasonable safeguards, but no website can be guaranteed completely secure.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
